When Jimmy Ellis returned home from Los Angeles, CA in 1976 he got help from two friends, Bobby Dillard and Mike Ketterbaugh to promote him. Together the formed “DEK” – a partnership which stands fro Dillard, Ellis and Ketterbaugh, Bobby and Mike worked hard and got Jimmy a lot of bookings up until ca 1978. Some of these shows were taped. Last year I bought the collection of one of the managers, late Mike Ketterbaugh, when his wife sold me everything she had. All the stuff had been stored in boxes for over forty(!) years. If you are looking for rare Jimmy Ellis then this is a great item. Sounboards from 1977 is something you don’t find everyday.
